• To become the premiere non profit organization for the development Girls Basketball in the Maryland area.
• Help to develop character, teamwork, and sportsmanship in an enjoyable basketball environment.
• Provide players with knowledge of the game of basketball by instruction and techniques that are designed to improve skills, enable players to compete at a high skill level.
• Develop self confidence, promote sportsmanship, and teach the value of teamwork.
• Help players to grow both athletically and academically so that they can be better prepared to advance to the next level of their career.

The Maryland Grizzlies recognize that basketball is only one facet of a young woman’s life. As an organization we do not prioritize it over other areas. Spirituality, family, education and the development of friendship are all looked upon as equally if not more importantly in their overall growth. Our commitment is to complete personal growth of our players.
